Refresher Courses are sessions captured at past RSNA Annual Meetings focusing on themes of health care reform, payment models, research and innovation, patient-centered radiology, and advances in the different imaging modalities. Refresher Courses are targeted to diagnostic, interventional and oncologic radiologists and are designed to improve knowledge and competence in responding to the challenges and advancements in the field of radiology. Most courses include an audio-visual presentation, as well as a corresponding transcript.

Course Learning Objectives:
• Illustrate knowledge of the economic and psychosocial impact of chronic pelvic pain.
• Identify the indications and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) protocols for endometriosis.
• Recognize the MRI appearance of endometriosis.
• Recognize the epidemiology and clinical presentations of leiomyomas.
• Identify current treatment options for symptomatic leiomyomas.
• Recognize the MRI appearance of leiomyomas to include differentiating them from other myometrial masses.
• Identify common surgical interventions for stress urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.
• Describe the MRI technique for imaging synthetic material in the pelvic floor.
• Recognize normal and abnormal MRI appearances of synthetic materials used in pelvic floor dysfunction.
