Challenges in Patient Safety in Psychiatry is organized by CME Outfitters, LLC and will be held during Jun 26, 2017 - Jun 26, 2018.
The target audience for this medical event is Physicians and other healthcare professionals managing patients with psychiatric disorders This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Patients with mental illness are at higher risk for adverse events including suicide, lack of medication adherence, and less likely to seek help during relapse. As pressure to discharge increases in addition to treatment plans, patients with mental illness must also have a safety plan beyond the length of hospitalization that makes the patient an equal participant and involves their entire care team, including family members.

At the end of this CE activity, participants should be able to: • Integrate patient-centered safety tactics into your clinical care of patients with mental illness.
