OVERVIEW

Case-based discussion : Putting It All Together is organized by Cleveland Clinic Foundation and would be held during Aug 9, 2016 - Aug 9, 2017.

The target audience for this medical event for Physicians, nurses, physician assistants, and health care professionals in vascular surgery, podiatry, interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, internists, endocrinologists, and wound care specialists who are involved in the care of patients with critical limb ischemia. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 0.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Objectives are :
• Review endovascular limb salvage.
• Discuss atherectomy in the management of CLI.
• Review retrograde pedal access in infrapopliteal CLI.
• Explain ipsilateral retrograde access stenting of a chronic total occlusion of superficial femoral artery.

This series updates health care practitioners regarding the biologic basis of vascularization, assessment and classification of wounds, and current therapeutic approaches to revascularization. Through a knowledgeable approach to treating this patient population, practitioners will be able to incorporate the latest research and clinical trial findings into their practice and, thus, enhance their ability to create management strategies and improve the care of their patients.
