Canadian Women in Medicine Conference 2020 is organized by Canadian Women in Medicine (CWIM) and will be held from Jun 04 - 06, 2020. This course has been approved for a maximum of CME credits (up to 17 hrs).

Welcome to the third annual Canadian Women in Medicine Conference!

After thoughtful consideration and consultation with colleagues in Infectious Disease and Public Health, they have decided to move the Canadian Women in Medicine to a virtual platform.

This weekend will be a wonderful opportunity for women physicians to learn, network and decompress in a casual and supportive environment. Similar to past years, keynote speakers and workshops will cover a range of topics that touch all aspects of women’s lives: professional, financial and personal.

Conference Objectives:
• To connect women physicians from across the country in a supportive environment
• To allow women physicians to spend time reflecting on important topics and issues affecting their everyday lives, including but not restricted to:

? healthy relationships with self, colleagues and patients
? nutrition
? stress
? leadership
? climate change
? burnout
• Raise funds for important causes, including:

This webinar will explore the challenges of leading a team during times of crisis. Participants will develop the skills to analyze crisis dynamics and manage uncertainty. Through self-reflection exercises, instructor-led presentations, and dyad and group discussions, participants will build the skills necessary to increase confidence, resiliency and grit and lead and engage their team during crises.
