• Summarize the current FDA regulations to demonstrate interchangeability of a biosimilar and implications for providers, payors, and patients.
• Review the potential impact of biosimilars on health care outcomes across several clinical specialties.
• Define barriers that impede the use of biosimilars and strategies to overcome these challenges.
