Technology continues to improve and there are many options for the aesthetic practitioner including microfocused ultrasound, RF, cryolipolysis and high-intensity focused electromagnetic technology. Microfocused ultrasound (MFU) has demonstrated impressive results in skin tightening/body contouring. This option requires understanding of the specific technology, proven treatment protocols and proper patient selection.
