Artificial Intelligence in Radiology will provide imagers of all experience levels with the introductory information and foundational skills necessary to thrive in a future impacted by AI integrated healthcare. Developed in collaboration with Artificial Intelligence Medical Education (AiME), this activity is designed to demonstrate AI’s radiology applications, its potential to enhance clinical practice and its limitations. As such, this practical and clinically relevant overview will detail the strengths and weaknesses of this emerging technology. No prior AI experience is necessary to benefit from this first of its kind activity, with applications presented for a myriad of imaging subspecialties. Worth 11 AMA PRA Category I Credits™

Topics: AI terms and methods, comprehensive review of applications for neuroradiology, breast, abdominal, cardiothoracic, musculoskeletal, pediatric and nuclear imaging, application evaluation, integration, workflow optimization, economics, ethics, quality assurance, medicolegal concerns and much more!

Objectives:
The educational design of this activity addresses the needs of radiologists of all experience levels. No prior experience in artificial intelligence is necessary to benefit from this activity.
After completing this activity, practicing radiologists should be better able to:

Describe the fundamental terms and methods relevant to artificial intelligence in radiology.
Discuss artificial intelligence’s potential to enhance the imaging practice, as well as its limitations.
Detail artificial intelligence’s practical utility for a wide range of imaging subspecialties.
Discuss the artificial intelligence marketplace and how to integrate AI applications.
Describe the ethics, quality assurance and medicolegal considerations involved with artificial intelligence in radiology.
