Learn to Catalog amongst normal variations in limb development in infants and children and pathologic abnormalities. Dr. John S. Blanco will examine the etiology, diagnosis, and management of general rotational and angular deformities such as tibial torsion, femoral anteversion, genu varum, and genu valgum. Dr. Roger F. Widmann will walk us through etiology, assessment, and management of limb length inequality.

Hospital for Special Surgery Professional Education activities is intended to improve the quality of patient care and safety. At the conclusion of this course, the participant will be able to:
• Explain common rotational and angular deformities in infants and children including tibial torsion, femoral anteversion, genu varum, and genu valgum
• Review the etiology, diagnosis, and management of angular deformities of the lower extremity including tibial torsion, femoral anteversion, genu varum, and genu valgum
• Differentiate normal variations in limb development from pathologic abnormalities
• Explainetiology, assessment, and management of limb length inequality.
