In this course, you will learn the appropriate use of laboratory testing when evaluating the patient with anemia.

Dr. Margaret Fitzgerald covers the clinical utility of common hematologic laboratory parameters that comprise part of the anemia workup, including hematocrit, hemoglobin, RBC count, RBC indices, RBC distribution width (RDW), ferritin, vitamin B12, folate, and other tests.
