OVERVIEW

An Overview of Over the Counter (OTC) Drugs: History, Concerns, Expectations and Promise is organized by Association of Black Cardiologists (ABC) and will be held during Feb 17, 2016 - Feb 16, 2018.

The target audience for this medical event is Primary Care Providers. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category I Credits.

Conference Objectives are:
• Describe the Origin of OTC drug category, brief history of past and current drug laws relevant to OTC drugs
• Discuss the Rx to OTC switch process, the push for self-care, the regulatory perspectives, decision-making and recommendation
• Explain issues for switch consideration safety, efficacy, use pattern label comprehension and actual use
