The target audience for this medical event is Critical Care Physicians, Cardiologists, Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Emergency Medicine Physicians, Nephrologists, Pulmonologists, Infectious Disease Physicians, Neurologists, Gastroenterologists, Hospitalists, Physician Assistants, Respiratory Therapists, Nurses and Nurse Practitioners. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Course Description :
This course provides practitioners with optimal weaning and spontaneous breathing trial parameters supported by current evidence-based data.
Learning Objectives :
• Determine when patients are ready for ventilator liberation.
• Employ an evidence-based approach to ventilator liberation.
• Reduce risk of extubation failure by utilizing evidence-based guidelines for noninvasive ventilation and high-flow nasal cannula.
