What is the significance of the 71st Annual American Health Care Association (AHCA) / National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) Virtual Convention & Expo?

Course Description:
They are pleased to offer the 71st Annual AHCA/NCAL Virtual Convention & Expo experience. The virtual convention is equipped with all of the activities that you are used to perform in an in-person CE-approved education, top-rated session and keynote speakers, a virtual exhibit hall, networking, and even a bit of fun.

While the virtual platform will be accessible from October 8 – 31, they have assigned three days called Get-Together Thursdays that will have live content. These three Thursdays will contribute a more vibrant platform experience and are the best opportunity to connect, learn, and share with colleagues across the country. There will be live-streamed sessions, moderated group chats for specific constituency groups (IOs, ID/DD, NFP, C-Suite, NCAL/Assisted Living) on related topics, and peer group meet-ups in designated lounges (for administrators, nurses, and more). An exact schedule of sessions and events will be announced before the convention opens.

Get-Together Thursdays (October 8, 15, and 22):
Get-Together Thursdays are the best opportunity to connect, learn, and share with colleagues across the country. Join moderated conversations on topics related to:
• Infection prevention
• Care practice
• Quality
• Assisted Living
• PDPM
• Facility administration
• Media and public relations

Also, ensure to join with your peer group in sessions for constituency audiences (IOs ID/DD, NFP, C-Suite, NCAL/Assisted Living), administrators, and other staffing cohorts. The definite schedule will be announced before the convention opens.
