ALS : Update on Genetics and Treatments is organized by American Neurological Association (ANA) and will be held during Jun 27, 2015 - Jun 27, 2018. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Description :
Nearly 50 ALS genes have now been identified. Robert Brown, DPhil, MD, University of Massachusetts, will highlight ongoing genetic research in ALS and its implications for therapy development in ALS.
Learning Objectives :
After this session, participants will be better prepared to do the following in practice:
• Diagnose diverse categories of ALS and FTD.
• Understand new concepts in the pathogenesis of neurodegeneration.
• Review new options for therapy that are predicated on these advances in ALS genetics.
