Course Description:
This article examines alcohol use, its problems and treatment. The article provides some statistics about alcohol, “Alcohol is the most used intoxicating substance in the United States”. This publication provides excellent information for the mental health professional, especially for those clinicians who work with adults. It is an excellent primer for clinicians who do not have a lot of experience working in the area of substance abuse diagnosis and treatment.
