This presentation introduces participants to generative artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models, such as ChatGPT. It contains examples of how AI can be used in medical education to enhance thinking and improve work productivity.

Learning Objectives:

  • At the end of this presentation, attendees will be able to:
  • Define generative artificial intelligence and large language model (LLM).
  • Describe some common types of AI prompts used in LLM's by medical educators.
  • Construct an effective prompt that would be useful in your work in medical education.
