OVERVIEW

Advancing Science on Age-Related Macular Degeneration is organized by Vindico Medical Education and will be held during Jan 26, 2018 - Jan 25, 2019.

The target audience for this medical event is ophthalmologists and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with AMD. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Conference Objectives are :
Upon successful completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
• Assess the increasing prevalence of early to advanced age-related macular degeneration (AMD), as well as its pathophysiology to better understand the visual impairment caused by the condition.
• Employ classification criteria, imaging, and other measures of visual function to improve the early diagnosis of AMD, as well as better define its stages.
• Describe new therapeutic targets and mechanisms of action of therapies currently in late stages of development for exudative and non-exudative AMD.
• Apply safety and efficacy data when assessing therapies currently used or under investigation for exudative and non-exudative AMD.
