After participating in this activity, participants should be better able to:
• Review study results outlining the effects of Mechanically Powered Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (MPNPWT) in promoting healing in different chronic wound types not following the normal healing trajectory
• Examine a holistic approach to healing combining the use of MPNWT, in conjunction with standard care treatments
• Recognize the importance of an effective wound therapy in minimizing interference with patients’ overall activity, enhancing mobility and overall preservation of quality of life
• Explore a summary of case study results using MPNPWT
