Program Overview:
This CME program was derived from content presented at the Eastern Pulmonary Conference 2019 Annual Meeting in Palm Beach, Florida. Drs. Charles Powell and Julie Barta will review the most recent discoveries about non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) tumor microenvironment as well as strategies for the treatment and management of NSCLC. The expert faculty will review strategies to incorporate the interprofessional team in order to deliver the most ideal treatment for patients with NSCLC. After completing this CME program, learners will gain insight into current best practices and treatment approaches for individuals with non-small cell lung cancer.

• Understand the most recent discoveries about the tumor microenvironment and the role of the immune system in NSCLC
• Evaluate the latest evidence-based data for the management and treatment of NSCLC
• Collaborate as an integrated team in developing individual treatments strategies to provide optimal care for patients with previously-treated NSCLC
