OVERVIEW

Advanced Musculoskeletal (MSK) Ultrasound-Guided Procedures for Rehabilitation Medicine - Online Video is organized by Gulfcoast Ultrasound Institute (GUI) Inc and will be held during May 28, 2017 - May 28, 2018.

The target audience for this medical event is Physicians, PA’s, sonographers and other medical professionals who will be involved with performing MSK ultrasound-guided intervention techniques. Physicians may include (but is not limited to) PM&R, orthopedic, sports medicine, rheumatology, pain management, and radiology. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Description:
This enduring material is designed to provide a review of ultrasound -guided treatment of ligament and tendon injuries as well as nerve entrapment syndromes. Procedures such as Ultrasound Guided Percutaneous Tenotomy, Percutaneous Carpal Tunnel Release (PCTR), and PRP Injections will be discussed. In addition, the benefits and pitfalls associated with office based ultrasound guided procedures using the advanced techniques is included.
