Description:
The NAT Diploma in Advanced Massage Therapy (AMT) course provides the highest level of online training in general practice remedial massage.

It is designed for qualified practitioners including osteopaths, physiotherapists; athletic trainers, rehabilitation therapists, massage therapists.

The course will build on your existing knowledge and experience. It will also help to provide an in-depth understanding and learning of the complex skills and techniques required to work as a remedial massage practitioner.

This course comprises 8 modules with 50 hours of study.

Module:
Remedial Massage:
Blending Eastern and Western perspectives on health, wellness, and the human body, this module delves into 40 medical conditions, meticulously outlining contraindications for massage and providing step-by-step massage therapy protocols tailored to each condition.

Oncology Massage:
Based on latest research, this course teaches how to work safely and effectively with clients who have cancer or cancer history. Split into two parts, the course covers both the application of general massage treatments for clients with cancer, and an introduction to Manual Lymphatic Drainage.

Pregnancy Massage:
This module is designed to elevate your massage therapy practice and cater to the unique needs of expectant mothers. Includes step-by-step protocols to help equip you with the knowledge and skills to confidently provide safe and effective treatments to pregnant clients.

Sciatica Massage:
This module includes step-by-step treatment protocols for addressing sciatica and associated pain, fostering your expertise and confidence in providing specialised therapy to your clients. Through insightful teaching and innovative methods you will learn to deliver targeted treatment protocols for addressing sciatica and associated pain.

Detailed Head Massage:
This module covers the origin and manifestation of tension headaches, and presents a blend of eastern and western techniques to help manage and relieve tension headaches in your clients. You will be guided through each technique step by step, ensuring you grasp the subtleties of pressure, rhythm, and direction. You'll learn not just the 'how', but the 'why', to ensure a deep understanding of the healing process.

Detailed Foot Massage:
This module concentrates on the intricacies of foot massage and its role in releasing tension in the lower body. It includes step-by-step massage techniques, combining elements of fascial release, gentle yet focused pressure, and deep tissue massage.

Detailed Hand Massage:
Navigate the mechanisms behind trigger point development in the rotator cuff muscles. Learn advanced manual therapy techniques, and incorporate holistic treatments that seamlessly merge the benefits of compression, heat, ice, and stretching.

Remedial Cupping Massage:
In this module is designed specifically for the massage therapist who wishes to learn to effectively integrate cupping therapy with massage techniques and apply them in clinical practice to address a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Includes comprehensive step-by-step treatment protocols.
