Advanced eBytes: Osteoporosis: Approach to Selecting Pharmacologic Treatment is organized by American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and will be held from Dec 19, 2018 - Dec 19, 2021.

The target audience is physicians, fellows-in-training, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, practice managers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, and medical and health professional students involved in the care of patients with rheumatic disease.

Course Description :
Advanced Rheumatology eBytes were created to complement the Advanced Rheumatology Course by allowing you to get a “bite-size” of education while receiving CME credits at any time that is convenient for you. Free for ACR/ARP members!

One area this activity will cover is whether or not the risks of Osteonecrosis of the Jaw (ONJ) in patients taking bisphosphonates or denosumab are low enough to receive the dental care required (e.g. implants, extractions).
