Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of the activity, participants should be able to:
- Explain the significant burden of migraine and its impact on a patient’s quality of life
- Review the role of calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) in the pathophysiology of migraine
- Apply evidence and patient-specific considerations to support the optimal use of CGRP receptor antagonists in the acute treatment of migraine and the preventive treatment of episodic migraine
- Identify strategies and best practices to address disparities in the care of patients with migraine.
