Description:
In this addresses the issues and needs of teenagers with ABI as they transition from the protective world of education to opportunities offered in the community for young adults. Topics include educational, social, and emotional challenges; specific components of community integration available after exit from high school; and strategies and interventions to support post-high school educational and vocational opportunities.

 Session Objectives:

  • Describe the educational, social, and emotional challenges faced by teenagers as they transition into adulthood.
  • Identify the specific components of community integration available to teenagers after exit from high school.
