Description:
There has been increasing interests among patients about minimally invasive facial rejuvenation. Patients of all age categories and both men and women are seeking facial procedures to look younger or just look better and refreshed. Minimally invasive facial procedures such as neurotoxins, dermal fillers and skin resurfacing are the procedures that have demonstrated the fastest area of growth. These procedures are non-surgical, can be performed in a short period of time and can be completed with minimal to no down time for the patient. In addition, there is a high degree of safety with the use of these products and minimal risks of untoward outcomes or complications. Using all three categories of minimally invasive procedures in one appointment provides a greater impact and result compared to use of a single category. Lastly, there is a high degree of patient acceptance and satisfaction when neurotoxins, dermal fillers and skin resurfacing are combined.

Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

Define the clinical objectives and outcomes that can be achieved with the use of neurotoxins, dermal fillers and skin resurfacing when used individually or combined.
Describe the anatomical treatment regions, including the muscles of facial expression, the natural existing folds and the layers of skin and subcutaneous tissue.
Demonstrate minimally invasive facial rejuvenation treatments using the recommended guidelines and techniques if the participant is licensed to perform these procedures in their state or jurisdiction.
Determine which patients would benefit from these treatment modalities (patient selection).
