OVERVIEW

Individualizing Insulin Therapy in Type 2 Diabetes is organized by Global Academy For Medical Education and will be held during Feb 11, 2016 - Feb 11, 2018.

The target audience for this medical event is Primary care physicians; nurses; physician assistants; and other clinicians who treat patients with type 2 diabetes. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant will demonstrate the ability to:
• Accurately evaluate patients with T2DM to determine when insulin initiation/intensification may be necessary
• Compare emerging insulin options with currently available therapies and discuss therapeutic choices with patients
• Identify patients who may require insulin intensification to achieve improved prandial control
• Develop strategies to create effective clinician/patient partnerships to maximize effective T2DM management
• Provide accurate and appropriate counsel as part of the treatment team. (Pharmacists)
