Description:
This course is designed for Michigan RNs and LPNs to fulfill their state-mandated continuing education requirements. Covering essential topics such as pain and symptom management, human trafficking, and implicit bias, the course also includes specialized modules on BiPAP and CPAP management, autism care across the lifespan, blood product administration, acute coronary syndrome, health education for adults, nursing informatics, and cognitive behavioral therapy for pediatric patients. Learners will gain knowledge of Michigan-specific regulations, reporting obligations, and practical clinical skills.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to identify and address implicit bias, understand pain management strategies, recognize and respond to human trafficking, manage complex clinical scenarios, and apply current best practices in nursing care. Please be aware that for Michigan renewals, you may only complete 12 hours within a 24-hour period.

3. Define pain, including pathophysiology, stages, types, and risk factors. 
4. Explain management techniques for BiPAP and CPAP complications.
