The Avera Perinatal TeleECHO is an educational series composed of obstetric related content. This series is designed to connect providers in a collaborative effort on improving obstetric care and access to obstetric care in SD. This is a recording of the live session that focuses on managing substance use in pregnancy. This session discusses the risks associated with methamphetamine use and methods to support sobriety.
Objectives:
- Describe treatment options for stimulant use disorders in pregnancy
- Describe treatment options for opioid use disorders in pregnancy
- Describe screening tools for substance use disorders in pregnancy
- Develop strategies in a team approach to prevent and manage complications related to high risk pregnancies
