Target audience:
This teaching activity is designed to educate radiologists, orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, and referring physicians who order musculoskeletal MRI studies.

Description:
Sports-related injuries require timely diagnosis and appropriate management for a quick recovery in all athletes; novice to professional. This program is structured to provide a detailed review of imaging-specific injuries. Faculty has been chosen to provide a well-rounded review of sports medicine imaging and treatment options.

Educational Objectives:
At the completion of this CME activity, subscribers should be able to:

• Optimize image sequences and protocols for a variety of sports-related injuries.
• Assess patients with joint pathology in a non-invasive manner utilizing MRI.
• Recognize the strengths and limitations of MRI for the management of sports-related injuries.
• Describe the MR appearance of common sports-related injuries and differentiate the findings from image artifacts.
