OVERVIEW

Rome IV Diagnostic Algorithms Slide Set is organized by Rome Foundation.

Description:
The Rome IV Algorithms Slide Set includes 28 algorithm slides that correspond to the algorithms in the Rome IV Algorithms book. These slides are annotated and include text from the book to supplement and explain each slide.

The Rome IV Algorithms have been revised to meet clinical standards in diagnostic evaluation since publication of the first edition six years ago, and also to be consistent with the new Rome IV diagnostic criteria. The Rome IV Algorithms address the need for a practical, efficient, and cost- effective method to diagnose common gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, and constipation. These common symptoms frequently bring patients to their health care providers, who must then decide on an evaluation that is precise, accurate, and cost- effective.
