Description:
Creating optimal Doppler waveforms and color images remains an important and sometimes misunderstood task in vascular ultrasound studies.
Objectives:
As a result of participating in this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe an optimal PW Doppler waveform and color image.
- Use equipment controls appropriately to create optimal Doppler waveforms and color images of blood vessels.
- Explain the effect of poor Doppler and color images on the accuracy of the vascular exam.
