Course Description:
This continuing education course provides essential, annual training on OSHA?s Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030) of the U.S. Department of Labor, and 2025 CDC directives. CE Course includes the risks of exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials (OPIM). Learn how bloodborne pathogens are transmitted and how to prevent exposure through Standard Precautions, personal protective equipment (PPE), safe work practices, and appropriate postexposure procedures for employers and employees. Covers key information on hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV and is designed for nurses and other healthcare professionals.
