• Discuss the asthma condition including pathophysiology and typical symptoms.
• Identify common asthma triggers.
• Describe phenotypes of asthma.
• Compare and contrast asthma incidence by gender, race, and socioeconomic level.
• Identify comorbidities that may create symptoms that mimic asthma.
• List categories of medications used in treating asthma.
