AHRO Masterclass in Stroke Management is organized by AHRO University.

Course Description:
This curriculum is designed for training health professionals in stroke management and care. This program encompasses overall hands-on training in the management of acute and chronic stroke, its complications as well as exposure to surgical and interventional management for the prevention and treatment of stroke. This course has three modules with 20 credits to be completed in the time limit of 3 months.

Learning Outcomes:
By end of the course the learners will be able to:
• Categorize high-risk factors of Ischaemic Stroke and Transient Ischaemic Attack (TIA) and acute strokes that require emergency treatment. 
• Apply the knowledge on primary and secondary prevention, diagnostic procedure, general stroke treatment, specific treatment including acute management, and management of complications.
• Evaluate rehabilitation of acute and chronic stroke patients.

Unit -1: Review Of Epidemiology, Pathophysiology, & Diagnosis

Unit -2: Review Of Evidence Based Practice In Prevention And Management Of Stroke & Tias
• Primary Prevention of stroke & TIAs
• Management of stroke & TIAs
• Secondary prevention of stroke & TIAs

Unit -3: Review Of Evidence Based Practice In Rehabilitations For Stroke & Tias
• Physiotherapeutic management of stroke patients
