Description:
In recent years there has been an increasing recognition of the harm that could be done to individuals who become the victims of harassment or bullying. Although there have been significant moves to introduce legislation and guidelines that deal with the introduction of organizational policy and procedures on harassment and bullying, the occurrence of harassment is still common.

This program covers the legal definitions and psychological aspects of sexual harassment, how to manage these potentially harmful situations, and the psychological make-up of the harasser.

Based on the content of this course, I can:
• Summarize the legal definition of sexual harassment
• Explain the steps that should be taken to a person who has been harassed
• Develop an understanding of how the harasser rationalized his/her behavior
• Recognize the psychological traits that make someone prone to sexually harassing others
