These podcasts provide an up-to-date perspective on improving treatment for patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration and/or diabetic macular edema who do not achieve optimal outcomes due to insufficient responses to therapy or insufficient adherence. This series of podcasts will elucidate the benefits and limitations of current therapeutic approaches for patients with nAMD or DME, equip participants with strategies for improving the durability of treatment response in patients receiving intravitreal therapies, and provide education on new and emerging treatment strategies.
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss the unmet needs associated with the use of conventional anti-VEGF therapies for patients with DME or nAMD
- Evaluate strategies for extending time between intravitreal treatments in patients with DME or nAMD
- Analyze clinical trial data on the safety and efficacy of new and emerging therapies for DME and nAMD
