Description
The Stony Brook University Department of Orthopaedics invites you to attend the Women in Sports Medicine webinar. The target audience will be Physicians, Physician Assistants, Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists, Coaches, Parents, Students and community members.

Objectives
• Educate audience on the opportunities available to women in the field of sports medicine.  
• Through a multidisciplinary panel via webinar, provide personal experiences regarding how they entered the field of sports medicine.
• Understand and highlight the day to day events and duties of their occupation.
• Educate audience on the services available to the female athletic population.
• Through a multidisciplinary panel via webinar, provide and explain the services available to the women in athletics throughout Suffolk County.
