OVERVIEW

Trigger Point Therapy and Taping for Plantar Fasciitis is organized by Niel Asher Education and will be held from Feb 05 - 19, 2026.

Description:
Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel and foot pain - and one of the most frequently mismanaged conditions in clinical practice. This 3-part live CE webinar series gives you a clear, effective, and immediately applicable protocol combining Trigger Point Therapy with Taping strategies designed to reduce pain, decompress tissue, and improve function.

Hosted by Dr. Kirsten Shepard, LMT, DC, an integrative clinician with more than 20 years’ experience, you’ll learn a full assessment and treatment workflow that addresses not only the plantar fascia, but also the kinetic chain contributors (gastrocnemius/soleus, tibialis posterior, hamstrings, hips).

You will finish the course with a structured treatment approach that you can use the very next day.

What You’ll Learn (Learning Outcomes):
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the muscular and fascial trigger points commonly associated with plantar fasciitis
  • Perform hands-on trigger point techniques to release tension and reduce pain in the foot and lower leg
  • Apply taping strategies to support tissue healing during movement or activity
  • Evaluate gait and lower-extremity mechanics contributing to plantar fascia overload
  • Build and modify a progressive treatment plan based on client response and improvement

What’s Included:

  • 3 live webinar sessions
  • Lifetime access to all recordings (no need to attend live)
  • Downloadable workbooks and taping reference sheets
  • Online exam
