Description:
This 2 day program is an interdisciplinary activity addressing appropriate assessment and clinical management of all types of chronic wounds. Academics include: physiology of wound healing, general principles of wound care, in-depth discussion of various wound types, topical wound care, and advanced wound care modalities.
Objective:
Upon completion of this activity, the participant should gain knowledge of chronic wound care leading to an improvement in patient care.
