Texas CE Requirements Live Webinar is organized by University of Houston College of Optometry (UHCO) and will be held from Jul 13 - 14, 2025.

Topics Include:

• One-Hour 2025 Professional Responsibility Course
  • Course required each year for all active licensees.
• One-Hour Opioid Prescribing Course
  • Section 481.0764 of the Health and Safety Code requires all active licensees who prescribe or dispense opioids to take each year a one-hour board-approved opioid course.
• One-Hour Human Trafficking Course
  • Section 116.002 of the Occupations Code requires all active licensees who provide direct patient care to complete a training course approved by the Texas Health & Human Services Commission once per renewal cycle.
