This series provides participants with the opportunity to learn from internal experts in the behavioral health field. Relevant behavioral health topics and evidence-based practice tools are presented in a monthly lecture format.
This activity will provide you with information about the different types of prescribers, components of a psychiatric assessment, diagnostic categories, and common medications used to treat various pediatric mental health concerns. Resources will be shared that you can use to further your own education and that you can provide to patients and families in your clinical practice. Finally, we will engage in a discussion about collaborative care, with an emphasis on what information, especially related to diagnostic and medication concerns, to share with prescribers.
