To provide all radiographers, radiology trainees, emergency physicians and paediatricians, with a practical and comprehensive webinar covering a wide range of paediatric plain films that are encountered, including normal variants, with a view to improve diagnostic confidence when reporting ED, inpatient, and outpatient films.

Sessions will be delivered by a faculty of established practicing consultant paediatric radiologists, experts in their fields, with comprehensive knowledge of the paediatric plain films and a long and extensive experience in advancing the knowledge and skills of peers nationally and internationally.

• This Infomed course has been organised again in response to the increasing number of reporting radiographers in need of support for reporting in the specialist area of paediatric plain films.
• This course presents delegates with the opportunity for a comprehensive review of paediatric plain films that is intended to improve diagnostic confidence when reporting ED, inpatient and outpatient films.
• Very importantly, delegates will be offered the tools to allow accurate image interpretation when faced with paediatric imaging, to understand what not to miss, and when to seek further advice.
• For Radiology trainees this is an ideal opportunity to see a large volume of paediatric plain films in preparation for the FRCR 2B exam.
• This is intended to be an interactive day and direct participation will be encouraged (but is not a requirement)

By the end of the webinar, participants will have:

• A comprehensive understanding of normal paediatric plain film anatomy.
• Greater confidence in identifying pathology on the paediatric plain film.
• A clear understanding of what not to miss and when to seek advice.
