Topic: FORUM 2021: Upper and Lower Extremity Bionic Limb Integration to Bone, Nerves and Muscles, and the Future Developments of Osseointegration.

Description:
• Mr Frank Bruscino-Raiola MBBS FRACS, Director and Head of Plastic, Hand and Faciomaxillary Surgery Unit, Alfred Hospital, Melbourne.
• Prof. Max Ortiz Catalán, developer of e-OPRA system within Integrum AB Sweden, and Founder of the Center for Bionics and Pain Research, Chalmers University, Gothenburg, Sweden
• Patient: Matthew Ames – Matthew lost all four of his limbs at age 39, both above elbow and above knee. He will share his account of osseointegration, focusing on his pathway and patient experience.
• A.S.A.P. rehab team members – OT Abby Hutchison, Epworth Rehab, Hawthorne & Prosthetist David Lee-Gow, Promotion Prosthetics.
• Patient: Eric Ax, Norway - He will share his 22 year experience as an Osseointegrated OPRA patient, unilateral A.K.A. Q&A will be conducted with our first 2 femur patients from 2000.
• Research projects discussed.
