OVERVIEW

OPAM Workshop-Medical Review Officer Training Course: Toxicology Testing and the MRO, A Physician's Role in the Prevention and Treatment of Substance Abuse is organized by American Osteopathic College of Occupational & Preventive Medicine (AOCOPM) and will be held from Nov 21 - 22, 2020.

Accreditation:
This program anticipates being approved for (to be determined, most likely 12) credits of AOA Category 1-A CME credits, pending approval by the AOA CCME.

Description:
Federal regulations require MROs to complete training and certification/recertification by a nationally-recognized MRO board every 5 years. AOCOPM’s new live virtual MRO Course not only fulfills this training requirement but also offers physicians the opportunity to learn from leaders in the MRO field. This course is an excellent training option for physicians new to MRO practice as well as practicing MROs who are looking to maintain the highest standards of knowledge, practice, certification, and compliance.

Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
