Social Service Designee participants will receive insight into the Social Service department of a long-term care facility, learn the aging process, and the performance skills of the SSD, and understand the role and function of the position.  Upon successful completion of the course, attendees will have met the Missouri State requirements to be a Social Service Designee in a long-term care setting and will receive a Certificate of Attendance from the Missouri Health Care Association.
