ONLINE Musculoskeletal MRI Fellowship - Lower extremity is organized by TMC Academy and will be held from Sep 27 - 29, 2022

Description:
Assist the leading MSK radioologistDr. Roar Pedersen will lead participants through the most commonly performed MR studies of lower extremities (knee and ankle) in a series of lectures that combine case readings with hands-on exercises. The discussions are followed by group discussions.
This course will help you understand the basics of MR imaging of the lower extremity. It will also teach you how to assess the most common injuries and other findings. We will discuss the anatomy and potential pitfalls. The growing skeleton and degenerative changes will all be discussed. Common sports injuries and stress reactions will also be covered.

This course will update your knowledge about MSK MR imaging lower extremities. If you're a beginner, it should allow you to report your first studies.

TMC Academy fellowships can be held online in a Zoom virtual classroom. Participants are encouraged and encouraged to have discussions using their microphone and camera to recreate the face-to-face experience.

You can ask questions and make mistakes in a small group setting with your peers. The mentor radiologist will support you as you learn together.

Learning Objectives:
• To familiarize yourself with MSK MR imaging for the lower extremities
• To understand stress reactions, sports injuries, and bone, soft tissue, and joint injuries
• To recognize normal anatomy and normal variants

• Lectures on normal reporting and image evaluation

• Lots of time to have Q&A with your mentor radiologists

• One-year access to cases discussed prior to and during the fellowship

Level:
Level II- General Radiologist
The fellowship will include both advanced and basic topics. It is open to both radiologists who are new and those who have more experience.
