You will learn about imaging of musculoskeletal trauma in this virtual TMC Academy course in which you will guide you through the interpretation, grading, and classification of traumatic injuries involving the upper extremity, lower extremity, and axial skeleton. The importance of injuries that are often neglected, as well as modest imaging abnormalities that signal a serious underlying soft tissue damage, will be highlighted. The course will emphasize the importance of a multimodality approach to trauma imaging, with examples of radiography, CT, and MRI results, as well as advice on when advanced imaging should be used after a trauma. A number of pitfalls that resemble skeletal damage will be demonstrated. After completing this course, you will be better able to diagnose and classify musculoskeletal trauma using a variety of imaging modalities, as well as offer more thorough and relevant reports to your emergency, trauma, and orthopedic teams.

Learning Objectives:
