Oncology Core Course 2022 is organized by Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) and will be held on Oct 25, 2022.

Description :
Course participants will verbalize a cohesive understanding of cancer as a disease continuum, as well as, the current modalities of treatment for improved patient outcomes.  The professional gap on which this activity is based is reflected in the rapidly emerging and numerous new diagnostic and treatment strategies in oncology. These include novel approaches to cancer care such as genetic markers, immune therapies, and targeted agents that require nurses and oncology support staff have up to date, relevant knowledge for competent and consistent application of best practices, in keeping with current evidence-based treatment and trends in oncology care.
