Live Webinar - The APRN Compact: Licensure Mobility for Occupational Health is organized by American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN) and will be held on May 02, 2024.

Description:
The APRN Compact is a legislative initiative led by the National Council of States Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) which would provide licensure mobility for APRNs. Like the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) the APRN Compact would allow for practice across state borders in person and via telehealth and other remote platforms. When operational the APRN Compact will increase access to care provided by occupational health APRNs and allow patients the option to seek the services of these APRNs. The AP-PD reviewed the references in peer-reviewed literature provided by the content expert and presenter that indicates that there is new legislation in 2024. This change in legislature may impact OHN practice and to learn about licensure mobility and how it will impact their practice is helpful for OHN professional development.
