CME Accreditation Statement for Physicians:
The Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.
IDSA designates this other activity (internet live course and internet enduring material activity) for a maximum of 216.5?AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. The core IDWeek sessions are designated for 170.25 credit hours, the Chasing the Sun 2.0 sessions are 13.00 credit hours, and premeeting workshops are an additional 33.25. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Maintenance of Certification:
Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 190.75 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
