Columbia University Medical Center invites you to join the leading clinician-educators from Columbia University, addressing current and future breakthroughs in Gout.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe current and emerging epidemiologic trends in gout, including factors contributing to increasing disease complexity and comorbidity burden.
  • Evaluate contemporary urate-lowering strategies, including treatment targets, optimal timing of therapy & common gaps between guidelines.
  • Explain the mechanisms of action, indications & safety considerations of biologic therapies used in refractory gout, and appropriate monitoring strategies.
  • Apply expert-recommended approaches to complex gout cases, integrating clinical experience with evidence-based guidelines.
